Nikon mejora sus objetivos y nos ha sorprendido con el lanzamiento de su nuevo Nikkor AF-S 35mm f1.8G, diseñado específicamente para cámaras de formato DX, como la D60, D300 o la más reciente D90. Este objetivo está compuesto por 8 elementos en 6 grupos, y tiene una apertura máxima de diafragma de f1.8, bayoneta metálica, y una junta de sellado en la base. Su focal de 35mm, equivale aproximadamente a los 50mm del formato tradicional.
